The trade of organs become illegal when the people are forced to give away their organ, when they face problems after the operations and are not taken care of.Sometimes these poor people are not even aware that an organ is missing from their body when they admit into a hospital.
500 million people sell their kidneys to just survive. Poverty continues to flourish India and the poorest people still continue to sell their kidneys for less than 1,500 dollars.

The reasons for kidney trades in India vary, but the main underlying cause is poverty. The poor and devastated victims of poverty give up their kidneys for money by their will or are conned. With such situations and reasons the naive poor people give their kidneys, due to the fact that giving up one’s kidney is not risky and does not affect one’s health. These reasons have led to the illegal kidney trade in India and cause many rich foreigners to take advantage and benefit from this trade.
