The age group involved starts from 5-14. The children are forced into this business often by their families to earn money and support, but eventually this leads to diseases and deaths of many children. Foundation like prajwala rescue poor children and give them shelter against the "business" men, they give them jobs and a new start for their lives. Prajwala is started by Dr. Sunita Krishnan who herself had been a victim of this brutal injustice against the children. |
